Full Time Position. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, the Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT) fills prescription orders, assists with monitoring drug therapy and control of narcotics and controlled substances, assists in stocking and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, and assists in maintaining records of pharmacy operations. Must possess ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions. Requires high school graduate or equivalent and current CPhT with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. One year of experience working in a pharmacy preferred.

Full Time Position. Provides general clerical support. Provides excellent customer service to patients and staff members. Responsible for accurate maintenance of files. Copies, assembles, and distributes documents as assigned. Answers multi-line telephone using appropriate procedures in routing and transferring calls. Responsible patient communication regarding appointments. Responsible for accurate data input in EMR software while registering patients. Will be responsible for following the laboratory's procedures for proper specimen collection and processing, LIS registration and order entry, test performance, reporting results, and recognition of critical/life-threatening values. Performs and documents quality controls as required, performs calibrations, and troubleshoots as necessary. Requires a minimum of an associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, or meet the standards outlined in CFR 493.1489 or 493.1491 if before Feb 28, 1992. ASCP preferred. MLT will be considered with experience. Strong communication skills a must. Rotating on call schedule.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST

CLINICAL ASSISTANT - CLINIC

Full Time Position. Answers multi-line telephone and routes incoming calls. Reviews and prepares provider charts for completeness in preparation for billing and to ensure a complete medical record. Assists with maintaining patient EMR. Schedules patients through EMR via phone or in person. Register and check in patients. Ensures patient insurance information is accurate and patient is eligible for each visit. Collects co-pays, payments, and consents. Scans to charts and updates documents according to policy. Substitutes as required for registration. Assists Clinic Manager with clerical support as needed. Assists with other positions as required. High School graduate or equivalent. Good grammar, spelling, communication and computer skills. Minimum two years of medical office experience preferred.

DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY MEDICAL SERVICES (EMS)

Full Time Exempt Position. Plans, directs and coordinates the overall operation of the ambulance service to ensure safe and effective operations. Directs and supervises the performance of staff, maintains quality assurance records and reports accordingly, oversees maintenance and operations of medical vehicles and equipment, administers emergency medical assistance as required, and oversees the procurement and use of medical supplies. Requires high school graduate or higher, current certification by the State Health Services as an EMT-Intermediate level or higher, BLS, ACLS, PALS and at least 2 years experience in emergency medical environment. Management experience is a plus.

PARAMEDIC

PPPC preferred, current Texas Driver’s License. Prefer one year experience in an emergency medical environment. Requires effective oral and written communications skills. Must be familiar with operation of emergency medical vehicles and equipment and possess ability to adhere to hospital, local and state guidelines in delivery of emergency care.

Full Time Exempt Position. The Director of Health Information Management develops department goals, objectives, standards of performance, and policies and procedures. The Director also organizes the department in accordance with Administrative guidelines to provide specified health information management services to meet legal, organizational, and Medical Staff guidelines. Additionally, the Director directs the implementation and ensures compliance with the standard of Health Information Management services and Conditions of Participations of Medicare and Medicaid. The Director also serves as the District’s Privacy Officer. Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required. RHIT or RHIA preferred, CCS required. Prefer five years of experience in a healthcare setting in HIM field.

IT TECHNICAL SUPPORT REPRESENTATIVE

Full Time Position. Acts as support for hospital and clinic information technology/systems and activities. The Technical Support Representative utilizes and operates computers, the information system, data entry, and related electronic data processing equipment, as well as has knowledge of general principles of computer system operations. The Tech is responsible for daily technical duties, managing work orders, maintaining the hospital and clinic camera and phone systems, and manages patch management and network support. The Tech monitors and manages image deployment, MDM/Inventory, the backup system, and Kaspersky updates/security center/antivirus. Must be available for call after hours and weekends. High school diploma or equivalent required. Associates degree in Computer Science or related field preferred. One to two years of computer experience and experience in hospital or clinic setting preferred.
