SONOGRAPHER - PART TIME

Part Time Position. Under the supervision of Radiologist, performs diagnostic sonographic procedures per provider order. Cleans and maintains equipment and maintains a cooperative relationship with interdepartmental personnel. Must be graduate of an accredited program of Sonography and be Registered or Registry eligible with ARDMS. A current Texas License, CPR certification, and Vascular Registry are required. Must have at least one year as a registered Sonographer.

OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST (OT) - FT/PT/PRN

PARAMEDIC

Full Time Position. Answers emergency calls and makes patient transfers. Administers emergency care to patients in emergency situations providing maximum patient comfort. Relays pertinent information to dispatcher concerning patient condition and maintains necessary patient records of ambulance service. Maintains vehicle and equipment in optimum condition. Requires high school graduate or higher, current certification by the Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician, current BLS, BTLS, or PHTLS preferred. PPPC preferred, current Texas Driver’s License. Prefer one year experience in an emergency medical environment. Requires effective oral and written communications skills. Must be familiar with operation of emergency medical vehicles and equipment and possess ability to adhere to hospital, local and state guidelines in delivery of emergency care.

IT ANALYST - FT

Full Time Position. The IT Analyst will act as IT Infrastructure Administrator, working with server, Linux, and web services. Will be responsible for managing and maintaining Hospital servers and networking infrastructure, including hardware and software upgrades/security patching. Will be responsible for deploying and administering Linux-based systems for on-premises and private cloud-based environments. Requires Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field and at least 3 years of experience in server administration, Linux, and web services. Prefer knowledge and experience with cloud/web applications (Nextcloud, Bookstack, Passbolt, Snipe-IT, etc.). Prefer knowledge with hypervisors, LAMP-based web deployments, networking, pentesting, remote administration tools, server administration for both Linux and Windows, and Office 365 Apps.

CERTIFIED OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT (COTA) - FT/PT/PRN

Full Time/Part Time/PRN. Under the direction of the Occupational Therapist (OT), the Certified Occupation Therapist Assistant (COTA) will follow the treatment plan developed by the OT. The COTA will teach techniques to patients with mental, physical, emotional, or developmental impairments for rehabilitation purposes. The COTA will monitor activities to make sure they are performed correctly and provide encouragement. Education: Graduate of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant Program. Must be certified by the Texas Board of Occupational Therapy and have passed the Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant National Exam. Must maintain an active Texas certification by completing the required number of hours of continuing education biennially. BLS required. New grads considered.

PATIENT TRANSPORTER

Full Time Position. Transports patients and supplies to various locations throughout the hospital and the surrounding area. Transporter will assist patients to enter and exit vehicles and buildings as needed. Maintains transporting supplies and equipment in a ready state. Orderly will assist patients with daily tasks, assist nurses and nurse aides with vital signs, change linens, lift/position patients, etc. High School graduate or equivalent required. DIRECTOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)

Full Time Exempt Position. The IT Director will oversee the technology infrastructure, systems, and software used in the hospital. Prefer experience with the CPSI electronic medical record system, knowledge of HL7 standards, promoting interoperability reporting, PACS standards, RIS, LIS, strong networking skills, and a strong knowledge of server virtualization. Will lead a team of technology professionals to ensure that all technology systems are running efficiently and securely, and that staff are trained in their use. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of experience in IT leadership with a track record of successful technology implementation and management. Experience with CPSI electronic medical record system is required as well as a familiarity with HL7 standards and knowledge of Promoting Interoperability Reporting. Familiarity with State and Government regulations and reporting is required. Must have knowledge of healthcare industry regulations/ requirements such as HIPAA and HITECH and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
