Full Time Position. The Director of Health Information Management develops department goals, objectives, standards of performance, and policies and procedures. The Director also organizes the department in accordance with Administrative guidelines to provide specified health information management services to meet legal, organizational, and Medical Staff guidelines. Additionally, the Director directs the implementation and ensures compliance with the standard of Health Information Management services and Conditions of Participations of Medicare and Medicaid. The Director also serves as the District’s Privacy Officer. Bachelor's degree preferred, Associate's degree required. RHIT or RHIA preferred, CCS required. Prefer five years of experience in a healthcare setting in HIM field.

Assists the providers in providing maximum patient care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each clinic patient. Under supervision, the LVN (MA) gives direct patient care as assigned to clinic patients. Requires graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, current LVN license (or MA Certification) and BLS. Prefer one year of professional nursing (MA) experience. Full Time Positions and Part Time Positions available. Answers emergency calls and makes patient transfers. Administers emergency care to patients in emergency situations providing maximum patient comfort. Relays pertinent information to dispatcher concerning patient condition and maintains necessary patient records of ambulance service. Maintains vehicle and equipment in optimum condition. Requires high school graduate or higher, current certification by the Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician, current BLS, BTLS, or PHTLS preferred. PPPC preferred, current Texas Driver’s License. Prefer one year experience in an emergency medical environment. Requires effective oral and written communications skills. Must be familiar with operation of emergency medical vehicles and equipment and possess ability to adhere to hospital, local and state guidelines in delivery of emergency care.
Full Time Position. Will provide physical therapy services for inpatient and outpatient services. The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, creating measurable goals and implementing interventions for each patient’s needs. Full Time Position. Responsible for blood draws, routine lab test and instrument maintenance. Will be responsible for following the laboratory's procedures for proper specimen collection and processing, LIS registration and order entry, test performance, reporting results, and recognition of critical/life-threatening values. Performs and documents quality controls as required, performs calibrations, and troubleshoots as necessary. Requires a minimum of an associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, or meet the standards outlined in CFR 493.1489 or493.1491 if before Feb 28, 1992. ASCP preferred. MLT will be considered with experience. Strong communication skills a must. Rotating on call schedule.

Full Time Position. Transports patients and supplies to various locations throughout the hospital and the surrounding area. Transporter will assist patients to enter and exit vehicles and buildings as needed. Maintains transporting supplies and equipment in a ready state. Orderly will assist patients with daily tasks, assist nurses and nurse aides with vital signs, change linens, lift/position patients, etc. High School graduate or equivalent required. Must have ability to read, write and effectively communicate with others. Must have valid driver's license and current BLS certification. Prefer one year of experience in medical setting.
Full time position. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, fills prescription orders, assists with monitoring drug therapy and control of narcotics and controlled substances, assists in stocking and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, and assists in maintaining records of pharmacy operations. Must possess ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions. Requires high school graduate or equivalent and current CPhT with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. One year of experience working in a pharmacy preferred.
