LVN - CLINIC

Full Time Position. Assists the providers in providing maximum patient care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each clinic patient. Under supervision, the LVN gives direct patient care as assigned to clinic patients. Requires graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, current LVN license, and BLS. Prefer one year of professional nursing experience. Medical Assistant may be considered with the right experience. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Occasionally heavy lifting when moving or supporting patients.

LVN OR MEDICAL ASSISTANT - CLINIC

Full Time Position. Medical Assistant (MA) may be considered with the appropriate experience. Assists the providers in providing maximum patient care, assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of each clinic patient. Under supervision, the LVN (MA) gives direct patient care as assigned to clinic patients. Requires graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, current LVN license (or MA Certification) and BLS. Prefer one year of professional nursing (MA) experience. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Occasionally heavy lifting when moving or supporting patients.

LVN

Medical Assistant may be considered with the appropriate experience. Full Time Position. 12 hour rotating shifts. Assists the professional nurse staff in providing maximum patient care, including assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each assigned patient. Under supervision, gives direct and indirect patient care as assigned. Requires a graduate of an accredited school of Vocational Nursing, current LVN license, current BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Prefer one year of nursing experience. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills.Occasional heavy lifting when moving or supporting patients.

REGISTERED NURSE

Full Time Position. 12 hour rotating shifts. Has principle responsibility for the total nursing care, assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation of each assigned patient. Plans, provides, and documents discharge planning, teaching, and educates patient, family or others to attain optimal health and continuity of care. Assures the plan of care is carried out in a safe environment through performance and supervision of subordinate personnel. Requires graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing, current RN license, and BCLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications. Prefer one year of professional nursing experience. Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills. Occasionally heavy lifting when moving or supporting patients.

PARAMEDIC

Full Time Positions and Part Time Positions available. Answers emergency calls and makes patient transfers. Administers emergency care to patients in emergency situations providing maximum patient comfort. Relays pertinent information to dispatcher concerning patient condition and maintains necessary patient records of ambulance service. Maintains vehicle and equipment in optimum condition. Requires high school graduate or higher, current certification by the Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician, current BLS, BTLS, or PHTLS preferred. PPPC preferred, current Texas Driver’s License. Prefer one year experience in an emergency medical environment. Requires effective oral and written communications skills. Must be familiar with operation of emergency medical vehicles and equipment and possess ability to adhere to hospital, local and state guidelines in delivery of emergency care.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST

Full Time Position. Will provide physical therapy services for inpatient and outpatient services. The Physical Therapist is responsible for performing patient evaluations, creating measurable goals and implementing interventions for each patient’s needs. Requires graduate from an accredited school of physical therapy, current Texas license or must actively be in the application process for current state license.

PHYSICAL THERAPIST ASSISTANT

Full Time Position. Physical Therapy Assistant will assist Physical Therapist in working with inpatient and outpatient services. Requires a graduate of an accredited school of physical therapy and a current Texas license or must be actively in the application process for obtaining the state license.

MEDICAL TECHNOLOGIST

Full Time Position. Responsible for blood draws, routine lab test and instrument maintenance. Will be responsible for following the laboratory's procedures for proper specimen collection and processing, LIS registration and order entry, test performance, reporting results, and recognition of critical/life-threatening values. Performs and documents quality controls as required, performs calibrations, and troubleshoots as necessary. Requires a minimum of an associate degree in a laboratory science, or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution, or meet the standards outlined in CFR 493.1489 or493.1491 if before Feb 28, 1992. ASCP preferred. MLT will be considered with experience. Strong communication skills a must. Rotating on call schedule.

CERTIFIED NURSING ASSISTANT

Full Time Position. Under the supervision of nursing, the CNA assists staff members in providing clinical patient care, prepares records, and maintains a clean environment.  Requires a high school diploma or equivalent, current CNA certification, current BCLS certification. Must possess ability to read and write, effective oral and written communication skills, and the ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions. One year experience in a medical setting preferred. Occasional heavy lifting when moving or supporting patients.

TRANSPORTER / ORDERLY

Full Time Position. Transports patients and supplies to various locations throughout the hospital and the surrounding area. Transporter will assist patients to enter and exit vehicles and buildings as needed. Maintains transporting supplies and equipment in a ready state. Orderly will assist patients with daily tasks, assist nurses and nurse aides with vital signs, change linens, lift/position patients, etc. High School graduate or equivalent required. Must have ability to read, write and effectively communicate with others. Must have valid driver's license and current BLS certification. Prefer one year of experience in medical setting.

FOOD SERVICE WORKER / COOK

Part Time Position. Prepares nutritional food for hospital patients, employees, and visitors. Suggests menu items and assists in the requisition of food stuffs and supplies. Operates and maintains kitchen equipment. Helps maintain the cleanliness of utensils and equipment in the kitchen and service area. Maintains confidentiality while working with confidential matters. Position requires high school graduate or equivalent. One year of previous institutional food preparation preferred.

CERTIFIED PHARMACY TECHNICIAN

Full time position. Under the supervision of a pharmacist, fills prescription orders, assists with monitoring drug therapy and control of narcotics and controlled substances, assists in stocking and dispensing of pharmaceuticals, and assists in maintaining records of pharmacy operations. Must possess ability to comprehend and follow verbal or written instructions. Requires high school graduate or equivalent and current CPhT with the Texas State Board of Pharmacy. One year of experience working in a pharmacy preferred.
