The Pharmacist will dispense medication as prescribed by physicians, ensure the accuracy of prescriptions, and maintain accurate and detailed records of all medications processed through the pharmacy. PARAMEDIC

Full Time Position. Answers emergency calls and makes patient transfers. Administers emergency care to patients in emergency situations providing maximum patient comfort. Relays pertinent information to dispatcher concerning patient condition and maintains necessary patient records of ambulance service. Maintains vehicle and equipment in optimum condition. Requires high school graduate or higher, current certification by the Department of State Health Services as an Emergency Medical Technician, current BLS, BTLS, or PHTLS preferred. PPPC preferred, current Texas Driver’s License. Prefer one year experience in an emergency medical environment. Requires effective oral and written communications skills. Must be familiar with operation of emergency medical vehicles and equipment and possess ability to adhere to hospital, local and state guidelines in delivery of emergency care.

DIRECTOR INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY (IT)

Full Time Exempt Position. The IT Director will oversee the technology infrastructure, systems, and software used in the hospital. Prefer experience with the CPSI electronic medical record system, knowledge of HL7 standards, promoting interoperability reporting, PACS standards, RIS, LIS, strong networking skills, and a strong knowledge of server virtualization. Will lead a team of technology professionals to ensure that all technology systems are running efficiently and securely, and that staff are trained in their use. JOB QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or a related field. PRIOR WORK EXPERIENCE: At least 5 years of experience in IT leadership with a track record of successful technology implementation and management. Experience with CPSI electronic medical record system is required as well as a familiarity with HL7 standards and knowledge of Promoting Interoperability Reporting. Familiarity with State and Government regulations and reporting is required. Must have knowledge of healthcare industry regulations/ requirements such as HIPAA and HITECH and strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
